This is new for 2022 so may take us a while to compile a thoroughly useful resource.

General Administration

Q : Can I book over the phone?
A : All orders are taken via our secure SSL website booking calendar with secure payment via market leaders Sagepay.

Q : Can I change or cancel my booking?
A : As per our terms and conditions you can change or cancel a booking with 14 days notice. There are no exceptions to our 14 days notice period. Cancellations are charged a £25 admin fee and first date changes are free. Repeated date changes will be charged a £25 admin fee. Sailing Courses

Q : Why Don`t SBT provide food on sailing courses?
A : Any business providing food as part of their service must register and comply with health and safety procedures. Food hygiene is strictly governed from food storage to food preparation and we feel that it is not possible for SBT to comply with the monitoring, inspection and implementation of these procedures on a yacht that are away from base for long periods. Our yachts are cleaned thoroughly to allow students to supply and cook their own choice of foods which is a completely legal way of dealing with this issue. We do wonder how other training centres meet such stringent requirements.
For example it is illegal for SBT to store raw and cooked meats in the single fridge onboard  a yacht.
