The Solent Boat Charters 3, 5 or 7 day south coast sailing cruises are often more of a challenge than our cross channel events due to tides and navigational hazards.
We supply our own highly experienced commercial skipper and with just 4 clients meaning only 5 person onboard in total. We run these events on a Bavaria 37/38 cruising yachts, costing from £299.
Check which of our bases the event you choose starts from because in 2022 we start to run these events from both Southampton & Lymington.
Who Is This Event Good For ?
Any sailors looking to consolidate skills before moving up to the next RYA level.
Any sailors looking for a great way to get on the water with like minded people.
This event is not aimed at absolute beginners, you should a a reasonable amount of sailing experience such as the RYA Competent Crew or equivalent.
These events are not aimed at just adding miles, they are about enjoying the places you visit. They are a cruise not a course.
Where Do We Sail ?
A typical 3 day sailing takes us from our base in Southampton to Poole in the west one day 1. Then heading east around the south of the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth on day 2 before returning to Southampton on day 3. The 5 and 7 day cruises go further west to Poole, Weymouth & even if winds allow Salcombe, Brixham, Dartmouth and Torquay.
Our 7 day cruises always start in Lymington so giving us even more time to explore the west country.
What`s Included ?
Free use of wet weather gear.
Complementary breakfast
All marina fees and fuel.
Your only additional cost is your food with evening meals usually taken ashore at very sociable pub meal with your fellow clients.
