Completed the 1 day outboard motor servicing course. An excellent course, so much was covered in one day, Sean was excelent and extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend. The theory followed by the practical hands on experience with the engines in the workshop was perfect. Thank you!

Just returned from completing my RYA Powerboat 2 course with Solent Boat training and had a genuinely excellent time. Bryan was an outstanding instructor who really made the group feel comfortable and at ease during the learning experience. I really appreciated his humour and simple way of explaining how to do things. The course was a small group of three students. It was a great mix of practical experience applying the skills while gaining the necessary information needed to apply them. I enjoyed both the theoretical and practical components of the course. I would strongly recommend this course to anyone hoping to learn more about powerboating.

Completed a two day PB2 course last week. Very impressed with all aspects and enjoyed the course a great deal. The instructor, Roy, was brilliant. Covered the content clearly and thoroughly, was open to questions through out, and was calm and encouraging when teaching the practical elements. He also brought the group together nicely, making sure everyone was included, comfortable and contributing. The equipment and facilities were also of a high standard. The waterproofs provided were in excellent condition, clean comfortable and warm. And the RIB was perfect for learning on. A very positive experience, and I’ll certainly be looking to book further courses in the future.

I've done powerboat level 3 with solent boat training and one of the best teachers ever met in my life. Bryan Pummel has the passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge and experience, I enjoyed the 2 days course thank you very much and I will book soon the powerboat advanced.

I’ve just completed my PB2 with Solent Boat Training and had a genuinely great experience. My instructor Bryan was brilliant. You can tell he’s really passionate about what he does and not just teaching to tick boxes. He took time to explain things properly and often went beyond the syllabus, which actually made a big difference to my confidence on the water. The whole two days felt relaxed but really well structured, and I came away feeling like I’d learned a lot rather than just passed a course. I’d 100% recommend Solent Boat Training, especially if you are lucky enough to get Bryan as your instructor :)
