With the first races held in 1826 and as the Worlds Longest-Running Annual Sailing Regattas, this year will see the 200th Anniversary of Cowes Week. Set to run from Saturday 1st to Friday 7th August 2026, it is pitched to be the most memorable year, for one of the most Famous Yachting Regattas in the UK or even the World.This year will see headline acts and week-long onshore entertainment, which will as every year, culminate with a spectacular Fireworks Display on Friday 7th August.
"200 for 200 Club" has been established, as a special club for selected organisations to support the event and participate in exclusive networking, at the Royal Yacht Squadron.
Special Events will include the "Bicentenary Gold Cup," a parade of Sail and special anniversary races.
