All Clubs, Business's and establishments have a "Vibe". Sometimes it is "Stuffy" like an Old Traditional Sailing Club, where maintaining a particular presence is most important. Then there are the "Sterile Business's" that deliver exactly what it says on the Tin, sticking rigidly to the point and with no flexibility.
But at 'Solent Boat Training', we regularly read and hear about the "SBT Vibe."
Our customers seem to enjoy the relaxed, confidence inspiring environment. The inclusiveness, team building and the confidence they've gained, all areas mentioned regularly within our feedback and reviews. We believe in supporting everyone on the water and that training delivered in an unpretentious and non-judgemental way, gives individuals the confidence to improve without feeling conscious of there skill level.
Boating is very much about the experience and this can only be gained by good guidance, coaching and being given the opportunity to practice through repetition.
Our passionate team of instructors and staff strive to give every student, client and customer the very best experience they can, whilst still ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge required. A full understanding of all technical, safety and practical aspects of any course will always more likely be remembered, if received in a fun and stress free manor.
By ensuring the groups are kept small, it has been identified that the lower ratio of students to instructor (offered by SBT), gives everyone the opportunity to practice more and allows extra time for additional practice, if or where needed. And if you're on one of our sailing courses, by limiting the number of students aboard, you won't have to share a bed with a 'stranger.'
Being based on the very edge of Southampton City Centre, here in Shamrock Quay, the great commuter links to and from our centre, will ensure you are relaxed as you arrive for your course and also gives you one less thing to think about when it is time for you to finally leave.
